I saw you at a Baptist Church in Framingham, MA quite a few years ago and was blessed by the work ethic of your family and incredible respect shown by your children and their true sincerety. You encourage others in a country which is truly loosing its foothold on how to preserve wholesome values. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. God Bless you.

    • Hello Bro. Rob,

Thank you for your kind words. We are truly humbled to be able to serve the Lord in this ministry. All the praise and honor goes to Him, Who alone is worthy!

      May the Lord bless you.

  2. Olivia says:

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that you came to my church at least ten years ago and I have enjoyed listening to your music ever since. My favorite song is “Count the Cost”. The Wells were at my church a few weeks ago and it is a blessing to see that you all are still serving the Lord.

    • Olivia,

We are grateful you stopped by. It’s a blessing to see that you are still serving the Lord. That’s neat that you were able to see some of our family this year.

May the Lord bless you as you continue to serve Him!

  3. Michael Beckett says:

    Bro and Sister Marshall,
I saw you and your family some 22 years ago at Faith Baptist Church in Cynthiana, KY. You were a blessing to me at the age of 16 and it is a blessing to see you still serving our Lord and Saviour. I can’t explain why, but you and your family came up in a recent conversation between my sister and I. I ‘googled’ your name and there you where. I think the Lord knew it would be an encouragement for me to see you and your family remaining faithful. As always…Our God was right again!
By the way that cabin is beautiful.
May the Lord bless you and all your family.

    • Hello Michael!

Wow, what a blessing to hear from you after all these years. We’re so glad you stopped by. We are glad to hear that you are still going for the Lord.

Come visit us in WV! God bless you.

  4. Anita Thornton says:

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I love your music.I was also wondering if you ever sung the song,”I wonder Will the Family circle be together once again” I think it’s called Family circle but people get it confused with Will the circle be unbroken.I was also wondering if you did where I can find it?

  5. Heather says:

Hello everyone! My mom and I first heard you last Mother’s Day, a year ago. You were such a blessing! We listen to your cd everyday, and have for the past year! You girls are a true inspiration to me! I means a lot to see girls honor their earthly and Heavenly Father. Thank you so much!

  6. Connie Breuer says:

Thank you for beautiful music. My daughter and granddaughter and I sing in our church…(Galilean Baptist in Northville, MI…used to be Livonia< MI). We sure wish we could have the names of the writers of some ofyour songs so we could buy copies of them and introduce them to our church congregation. The especially moving ones to us are: Exceeding, Abundantly, A World wd Never Touch, and the one of the conversation between Death and Satan. Is there any possibility of obtaining this music? Thank you for any help. Connie Breuer

    • Hi Connie,

Thank you for stopping by. Please visit our “Song Information” link on our “Music” page. You will find information for many of our songs.

      God bless!

It was on the final night of revival week Friday April 17 at Harvest Baptist Church in Hagerstown MD. It was the most blessed week hearing the preaching of Dr Pastor Sam Davison from Oklahoma City. The evening began with Monica,Joann and Jessica Marshall doing a couple songs. My heart was so so stirred with the perfect melody and the bluegrass gospel just moved my soul so much. I bought a CD “Do It All Again” and listen every day on my way to work and way home. I will buy more as time goes on and would travel to see the family perform again. Thanks so much for helping me as I walk with Christ daily with the lyrics. God bless your whole extended family and lookin forward (God willing) to hearing ya ll down the road.

    In His name,
    Kevin Quinn

    • Hello Kevin,

Thank you so much for visiting our website. Your words were a big blessing to us. We hope that we will be able to see you again sometime.

May the Lord bless you as you walk close to Him!

  8. Amanda says:

I have enjoyed your music since I was a little girl. I remember driving to a church in Ontario one night with a bunch of people from my church to hear you sing. I have no idea how old I was, maybe 7 or 8. But I never forgot it. I have continue to enjoy your music.
I was wondering if you had any information on the song, World We Never Touch. Also, I play violin and love hearing the violin parts to the songs. Is there any way to get those? Thanks for your help.

    • Hi Amanda,

We’re glad you stopped. It was nice to hear from you.

You can find information about “A World We Never Touch” on our “Music” link under “Song Information.”

  9. Mrs. G says:

Hey, you girls might have some competition coming your way….the girls are going to sing at church on sunday night in a couple of weeks! They are sooo excited! There must have been a typo on the singing schedule because it only said “the guentert children”….i am sure it was just an oversight that Pmark left me out :o )

    c u soon!

    • Mrs G!!

Wow, sounds like you were left in the dust. Make sure you record the girls because we want to hear them. Maybe they can fill in for us sometimes. Wouldn’t that be great? :)

  12. Steven Turner says:

Hey guys. I remember hearing you all when I was 6 years old and playing with your children after church. I am 37 now. My father was the Rev. Lewis Turner at Bible Baptist Church in New Port Richey Florida.

  13. Jason Lawrence says:

Great to see you are all still in the fight!

I’m sure you don’t remember me but I have some fond memories of you folks when you’d come through San Diego. Lets see: I remember playing basket ball with the two boys, and (some) of you girls. I recall having Jon over to the house where we brainstormed ideas for your next album cover design, and, of course, listening to your musical performances both at the Amherst property in the 90’s and the Lemon Grove property years later. Good Times!

BTW – I love your new log cabin. It’s fantastic! Did you all do the whole thing yourselves? The design and everything? I would love to see more pictures of it from start to finish. I hope to one day design and build something similar.

Oh, and thank you for reaching out to the military. (I read some of your latest blogs) It’s because of God using good Christians like you reaching out to us military folks that I myself got saved.

    Keep up the good work!
    Jason

    • Hello Jason!

It was great to hear from you again. We have many fond memories from Lighthouse, as well. It’s great to hear you are still serving the Lord!

Here’s a note from the past! We knew you all from the Seattle, WA area back in the late 80s, and then in Palestine, TX in the early 90s. I enjoyed catching up on your family through the photos, etc. Our oldest daughter, Rebecca, is a nurse in Baltimore, MD; our youngest daughter, Bonnie, gave us our first grandchild – Neko; Adam, our oldest son, is a youth pastor in Cottondale, TX and gave us our second granddaughter – Felicity; and our baby, Andrew, is studying aeronautical engineering at UT Austin and working a Co-op at NASA. Don’t know if you’ll remember us, but if so there’s our update. Proud and blessed to have known you and your family. We still listen to you music which has been such a blessing for so many years – even sing some of it in church. I lead our youth choir and they’ve sung some of your work, too. Love you all. Keep up the good work!
    Bro. Joplin

    • Hello Bro. Joplin,

  22. Carrie Lynne Carney says:

    Dear Marshall Family,

Thank you so much for all of your music. It is an inspiration and an encouragement. It is truly a talent from God that your family has been able to take the old hymns of the faith and sing them in a new and unique way, but keeping the standard. Besides this, they have written their own songs and music that can be called fresh and new “hymns of the faith.”
Your website has also been uplifting. I have enjoyed viewing all of the extended family. It truly is “God That Gives the Increase.” Wow! 34 grandkids! All of them are in the ministry in some way! This must be both happy and sad, happy since they are serving the Lord, sad, but not too sad :) since some are so far away. God bless and keep you all.

    Lynne Carney

Between our schools and a couple others, we have AACS (American Association of Christian Schools) spring festival. I think that’s what it’s called. And my two friends and I were wanting to sing the song Crimson River. I’m not sure where to get it…

  34. Joe & Debbie Vaughn says:

We remember the last time now — after church, we went to the Salewsky’s house for dessert. Monica was almost 2 yrs old & you drew a square in the carpet where she was to stay & stay she did – the whole time. That was amazing!

  35. Joe & Debbie Vaughn says:

HI! We remember you from a looooonnnng time ago, when all 10 children were with you. You came to Hesperia, CA, (Pastor Moffitt’s church) and then, later on, somewhere else (Maybe, Bro. Goddard’s church). I think we still have an old tape somewhere. You look the same. Do you come to Oklahoma City area?

Hello there!!! How is it in WV? We had a real cold spell (down to and below -20F!!!) for several weeks! Then…it went up to and above 40 F…in JANUARY in ALASKA!!! Pretty strange…but nice! We had rain, snow melting, etc… Sure felt like spring was just around the corner. We had to remind ourselves that it was only January! Now it is down to a more “normal” January temp! :-)

Think about you girls quite a bit… Hope you can come visit sometime!

Looking forward to when you can get your web-site updated… would love to see some more pictures and hear what is going on in your lives.
